Prayer Ministry

At Edmond’s First Baptist Church we do not believe that prayer is “a ministry:” of the church, but “the ministry” of the church. Our goal is not to be a church with a prayer ministry, but a praying church.  Under the leadership of our praying Pastor, we strive to create varied opportunities for EFBC participants to make our congregation a house of prayer.

Emergency Prayer Chain

Visit the Prayer Requests page and complete the prayer request form which is available 24/7.

Edmond's First Baptist Church Emergency Prayer Chain is an opportunity for you to share immediate prayer needs with our 24/7 Prayer Team!  When you complete a prayer request form, we forward it to scores of First Baptist Church prayer partners in order to get the maximum number of people praying with you about your concerns. We want to express the love and care of Jesus for you at this time of need. (If you prefer that your request remain private, we will honor your wishes.)

Prayer

New Members!

We are very much open to new members who have an interest in spending time in prayer during the time that our pastor is preaching. We meet each Sunday following the Early Connection Group and spend time in prayer for all the activities of the day and week and especially for the pastor as he preaches. We usually have a group of 4 or 5 praying each Sunday and participants can make themselves available once a month or more often, if they like. Spending an hour praying for staff and leaders and members and the plans made for ministry events is a blessed time together and an experience we look forward to.

Interested parties can contact Phil Jones, Saundra Cruse or Carolyn Marshall at 405-348-2896 to learn more and to sign-up.

For more information, contact the church office Monday - Thursday from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM and Fridays from 8:00 AM to noon at 405-341-0253.
