KIDS Kupboard

Help supplement food needs for boys and girls right here in our community who may go hungry during extended school breaks. Bring the following items to your child’s Connection Group through Sunday, October 9. Fall Break collections are under way:

  • 7th through 12th Grade: granola bars and pop tarts.

What is Kids Kupboard?  Kid’s Kupboard is a ministry designed to ensure that at risk children from a local elementary school don’t go hungry during extended school breaks such as Fall Break, Thanksgiving, Christmas Break, Spring Break, etc. Volunteers pack grocery sacks full of fruit and ready-to-eat nutritious food items to be provided to families selected by the school social worker. For more information contact Caris Young, 405-609-4333. Help us pack on Monday, October 17, at 10:00 AM in Room W103.

Connection Groups

Strive to be deeply connected with God. Through Prayer and Bible Study EFBC’s Connection Groups (Sunday School) strive to be more deeply connected to God. In these smaller groups, prayer and Bible study become ways for all to experience God together as a community. This provides a way to ask questions about the Bible and find prayer support for life’s many needs. Experiencing God in community helps us be more deeply connected with God.

This is what we call our Wednesday nights. Based on on James 1:2-4 which is:

“2 Consider it a great joy, my brothers, whenever you experience various trials, 3 knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. 4 But endurance must do its complete work, so that you may be mature and complete, lacking nothing.”
