Women's Ministry
The women of Edmond's First Baptist Church are excited about what God is doing in our midst, anticipating His best as we see His hand moving, His Spirit leading, and His Son, Jesus, reaching out with open arms to those who seek Him. All ladies, college age through senior adults, are welcome to participate in everything we do! For more information contact Jennifer Fett at 405-471-1319, the church office at 405-341-0253, or Pat Murphy.

Opportunities to look forward to!
Kid's Kupboard
The Kid’s Kupboard
is a ministry designed to ensure that at risk children from a local
elementary school don’t go hungry during extended school breaks such as
Fall Break, Thanksgiving, Christmas Break,
Spring Break, etc.
Volunteers packed grocery sacks full of fruit and ready-to-eat
nutritious food items to be provided to families selected by the school
social worker. EFBC’s Kid’s Kupboard helps supplement food needs over
extended school breaks. For more information please contact Pat Murphy, Director of Preschool Ministries.
Cookbook Sales
The Women’s Ministry of Edmond’s First Baptist Church knows that
food is an integral part of family life, as well as fellowship among
friends. In order to share recipes that have become family favorites
among our own families, we have created a collection of recipes from
the entire church family to share with you and yours. The original
“First Family Favorites” cookbook was published in 2002 and a
supplement was added in 2006. The 2002 version of “First Family
Favorites” is available for $12.00 and the cost of the 2006 supplement
is $3.00. The combined set can be purchased at the Women’s Ministry
Table in the Worship Center Foyer.
Ladies Night Out
Twice a year in the spring and fall, Edmond’s First Baptist Church Women’s Ministry hosts
a Ladies Night Out event where we join together for a special event to enjoy special guest speakers, fun, food and fellowship. This is a great opportunity to invite a friend and enjoy time together with other ladies!
Project Christmas Hope
Even though Christmas is a time of joy and laughter for most of us,
it is a time of hopelessness and disappointment to many families who
are experiencing hard times. Through Project Christmas Hope, Edmond’s
First Baptist Church “adopts” families from The H.O.P.E. Center of
Edmond, and any family in our church that we know needs a little extra
help. Project Christmas Hope allows the entire church to anonymously
share in their personal blessings by assisting in providing new
clothes, toys, food and other items to these “adopted” families.
Selections are easy to purchase since they are labeled by the desired
item’s name (toy truck) and by the age and gender of the child. No
names are used for either the recipients or the donors of the items.
Each family’s “wish list” will be displayed in the Worship Center Foyer
during the Christmas season.
