The women of Edmond's First Baptist Church are excited about what God is doing in our midst, anticipating His best as we see His hand moving, His Spirit leading, and His Son, Jesus, reaching out with open arms to those who seek Him. All ladies, college age through senior adults, are welcome to participate in everything we do! State Evangelism Conference 2012
Monday, January 30 and Tuesday, January31
Ladies, save the date for the 2012 State Evangelism Conference on Monday, January 30, and Tuesday, January 31, at Southern Hills Baptist Church in Oklahoma City. The “Women’s Emphasis” of the State Evangelism Conference is incorporated into the two days.

Sonja Burpo is a featured speaker in the Monday night general session and Babbie Mason is performing a concert Monday night. There will be women’s breakout sessions offered Tuesday morning along with a special luncheon.

Military Missions

Winter Bible Studies
begins Tuesday, January 10 and Wednesday, January 11

Two new sessions, daytime and evening, will study Beth Moore's, James: Mercy Triumphs.  Childcare is available for the Wednesday morning session. Sign up by January 4.

Becky Gourley will continue with the fall study from Beth Moore's, To Live Is Christ, on Tuesday evenings at her home beginning January 10.
        
Weekly Prayer Group & Coffee

Ladies, you are invited to join a prayer group, which meets each Tuesday at 10:00 AM in the home of Carolyn Marshall, 2212 Rosewood Lane, for fellowship, hymns, prayer for our nation, our church and its ministries and prayer requests from our church family. Baptist Women on Mission
10:00 AM in Fellowship Hall on Monday, February 6, 2012
Any age lady is invited to attend as we study about missions at home and in foreign countries. There are guest speakers at some meetings. Prayer for the missionaries that have birthdays on that Monday is always on the program. Food and supplies are collected for the Baptist Mission Center once every year. Friendship International
Thursday mornings 9:30 AM - 11:30 AM during school year
A ministry to foreign born women and their preschool children, this is a great opportunity for women to reach out and minister to women from around the world with Christ's love.  We have women from 20 - 25 different countries, many of whom have never heard the gospel of Christ.  more...

Join this ministry service project to help disadvantaged families with young children have adequate food in their homes during long school breaks. No reservation needed, just show up and be prepared to bless others with your efforts.
