Connecting to

Edmond’s First Baptist Church (EFBC) is a family of faith passionately connecting to Christ, His Church, His Word, and His Mission for His Glory. We do this by multiplying leaders, Connection Groups, campuses, and church plants.  New leaders are needed for new Connection Groups as our church grows.

Many people will connect with EFBC, but some people won’t. Jesus said, "Follow me and I will make you fishers of men." (Matthew 4:19) Fishermen know that you don’t use the same bait to catch all fish. Paul said, “I have become all things to all people, so that I may by every possible means save some.” (1 Corinthians 9:22) That is why we have so many different Connection Groups; to help us meet people where they are in life so they will develop a relationship with Jesus Christ.

Connecting to

His Church

Not only do we need different Connection Groups, but we need different campuses and church plants. EFBC has started many churches. In Edmond we started:

  • Highland Park Baptist Church
  • Waterloo Road Baptist Church
  • Henderson Hills Baptist Church

Through these churches we have been able to reach more than 10,000 more than our church alone.

East Edmond Community Church

Ray and Christina moved back to Edmond in December of 2017 to follow God in planting a church in Ray’s hometown. A lot has changed in the past 10 years since Ray and Christina left Edmond to plant another successful church in Phoenix, Arizona.

The city limits of Edmond have been stretching out past I-35 for several years now and projected growth for East Edmond is through the roof. Ray and Christina are already seeing God bless this church plant in this area. East Edmond Community Church meets on Sundays in the Edmond Convention Center on I-35 and Covell.
