Each year Samaritan’s Purse collects millions of Operation Christmas Child shoe box gifts that are delivered to children in more than 100 countries. The shoe boxes are an opportunity to communicate God’s love and to share the Gospel with children in some of the world’s poorest, hardest-to-reach communities.

Learn more about the early December Mission Trip to Samaritan's Purse Processing Center in Dallas, For women 18+, we will be packing shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child.

TAKE COURAGE: A Study of Haggai
By Jennifer Rothschild

Do you ever feel like the happy ending of your story is a million miles away? Then you know how the Jewish people felt when they returned to their wrecked land after exile and began rebuilding the temple. They were distracted, discouraged, and ready to throw in the towel. But the prophet Haggai reminded them they could find courage in the God who had never left them.

Sometimes the landscapes of our lives feel wrecked, with our hope and purpose in shambles. We too get distracted and discouraged. However, God’s presence and promises give us courage to press on and trust Him with our story.

Learn to walk confidently in your calling, stay motivated despite opposition, and courageously invest your life in God’s purposes, trusting Him for results you may never see in this lifetime.

Activities are available for everyone on Wednesday evenings. Learn more by following Formations:

God of Freedom: A Study of Exodus 19-40
by Jen Wilkin
Tuesday, Sept 13 | 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM | Room 108
A Tuesday evening Bible study beginning on Tuesday, September 13, led by April Pratt, we will  journey through the story of how God shepherds His newly liberated children into an understanding of what their freedom means: lives consecrated for service to God and to one another.

With Us in the Wilderness: A Study of Numbers
by Lauren Chandler
Wednesday, Sept 21 | 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM | Room 115
A Wednesday morning Bible study beginning on Wednesday, September 21, and led by Sherry Liga. We will have an in-depth study of the Book of Numbers and God’s people. Discover how even when they rebelled - and this book tells of many rebellions - God’s love and promises remained. It’s in that love and those promises the children of Israel found their identity and where we must find ours today.

God of Deliverance: A Study of Exodus 1-18
by Jen Wilkin
Thursday, Sept 15 | 9:45 AM - 11:00 AM | Room 115
A Thursday morning Bible study beginning on Thursday, September 15, led by Katie Blackmon, childcare is available through Parents Day Out. In this study  Jen Wilkin shows us that Israel’s story is our story: the same God who delivered Israel also delivers all those He loves from slavery to sin and from service to the pharaohs of this world. He lifts our eyes to the promised land He has prepared where we dwell with I AM and worship Him as the one true God.
