Explore the Bible: Amos, Jonah, Hosea, Micah
Room 201
Led by Jerry Miller, great for Connection Group teachers and open to everyone. This study focuses on four prophets who lived in the eighth century BC - Amos, Jonah, Hosea, and Micah. God’s people were divided into two kingdoms, Israel in the north and Judah in the south. The Northern Kingdom contained ten of the twelve tribes of Israel, and the Southern Kingdom contained the other two. Both Israel and Judah experienced an amazing amount of independence from outside powers until the last quarter of the century, when Assyria became aggressive, eventually capturing Israel by sieging the city of Samaria. During the century, the people of Israel and Judah experienced a measure of prosperity and peace that would lead them to many social ills, such as oppressing the poor and worshiping idols. God raised up the major prophet Isaiah and four minor prophets who would speak to the times.

Men's "Pursuit of God"
Meet in Room 109 and led by Mike Morris.  "The Pursuit of God" by A. W. Tozer is an inspirational book that aims to guide those who wish to follow Christ. It includes biblical teachings that emphasize the concept of pursuing God.

Women's "Take Courage"
Meet in Room 108 and led by the Women's Ministry. In Take Courage: A Study of Haggai by Jennifer Rothschild we will learn to walk confidently in your calling, stay motivated despite opposition, and courageously invest your life in God’s purposes, trusting Him for results you may never see in this lifetime.

Expository Parenting
Meet in Room 106A and led by Clay Mosley. If you are a parent, The Great Commission has come to you - in a bassinet, a booster seat, or a bunk-bed. While other parenting philosophies rely on "what seems to work" (i.e. pragmatism), "what we've always done" (i.e. traditionalism), or "what's right for us" (i.e. relativism), a better perspective is founded upon a biblical approach: teaching the full counsel of God and allowing Scripture to do its work in a child's heart. How do we accomplish this? We must examine the Bible's instructions for pastors, and then apply those principles in the home. In other words, just as the preacher must be committed to expository preaching, so too must the parent be committed to expository parenting.

Biblical Citizenship
Meet in Room 106D and led by Ben Peterson. Throughout our history, American pastors and churches have played a vital role in the preservation of liberty. In this time of crisis, where we see our freedoms under attack like never before, we are calling on every Biblical Christian in America to step up and join us in defending liberty. Know your religious liberty rights. Gain more constitutional knowledge than 99% Americans. Learn tangible action steps for preserving liberty. Learn biblical, historical, and constitutional foundation of freedom. For registration and course materials, visit
