NOTES ARCHIVE
  • Explore the Bible: Acts
    Meet in Room 201
Led by George Gorham, great for Connection Group teachers and open to everyone. The book of Acts is “Part Two” of Luke’s correspondence with Theophilus (Luke 1:3; Acts 1:1-2). The Gospel of Luke relates “all that Jesus began to do and teach” (Acts 1:1), Acts relates the advancement of Christ’s gospel through His church. Acts 1–12 feature Peter as the central character in the early formation and growth of the church. Toward the end of this section, the conversion of Saul of Tarsus paves the way for the second half of Acts.

  • Men's Ministry
    Meet in Room 109
Study "Lead Like Christ: Reflecting the Qualities and Character of Christ in Your Ministry" by A.W. Tozer. Is your leadership style the same as those who aren't Christians? Let Tozer show you a more excellent way! Drawing from sermons based on Paul's letter to Titus, this practical collection encourages you to model your behavior on Jesus' humble approach as you seek to create the relationships, loyalty, and cohesion you need to lead well.

  • Women's Ministry
    Meet in Room 108
We are studying "Women of the Word: How to Study the Bible with Both Our Hearts and Our Minds" by Jen Wilkin.

We all know it’s important to study God’s word. But sometimes it’s hard to know where to start. What’s more, a lack of time, emotionally driven approaches, and past frustrations can erode our resolve to keep growing in our knowledge of Scripture. How can we, as Christian women, keep our focus and sustain our passion when reading the Bible?

This Bible Study will equip you to engage God’s word in a way that trains your mind and transforms your heart. Women of the Word has helped countless women with a clear and concise plan they can use every time they open their Bible.

The Celebration Choir and Praise Team rehearse in the Choir Room every Wednesday at 7:00 PM. For more information, contact the Fine Arts Ministry Office.
