2024 CELEBRATING COVENANT LOVE

Welcome to a special weekend of love and connection! Join us on Friday, February 9, and Saturday, February 10, for an unforgettable Valentines' Banquet and Marriage Conference. This event promises an enriching experience filled with an insightful speaker, Pastor Lewis Richerson, Ph.D. from Woodlawn Baptist in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, delightful food, and the joy of building a stronger biblical-based marriage with your spouse.

Pastor Richerson is the Senior Pastor at Woodlawn Baptist Church. He is married to Erica and together they have five children; Dalton, Carlie, Anna, David, and Elia. His interests include sports, politics, and reading.

"The foundation for getting marriage right is grounded in Scripture. That narrative begins with God and His relationship with Israel. God entered into a covenant relationship with Israel where He clearly communicated who He was, 'I am the LORD your God' (Exodus 20:2a), His history with Israel, 'who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery' (Exodus 20:20b), and His stipulations, which we call the 10 Commandments (Exodus 20:3-17). Understanding marriage as a 'covenant' then shapes our hearts in marriage (Matthew 5:27-32) and our service toward one another in marriage (Ephesians 5:22-33)."
