Where do my kids go?

When you know your children are in a loving and safe environment you can relax, allowing you to focus on worship and Bible study.

Preschoolers are actively engaged in play while learning about God’s love for them. As you enter the Preschool Pathway (Preschool & Children’s Wing) from the Worship Center, you will walk past murals designed to show that Jesus is involved in every part of life, whether you live in the city, in the country, or somewhere in between. Boys and girls, infants through kindergarten receive security I.D.’s at the Preschool Reception Desk for each event and are directed to a developmentally and age appropriate department located on the first floor near the reception area.

All children in grades 1-5 attend classes on the 2nd floor of the Children’s Wing. Worship Center hosts will assist you and your children in finding your way to the appropriate class.  Once in the Children's Wing, there is an elevator just ahead and to the left while a staircase can be found to your right which lead to the upstairs classrooms.

Children’s Worship – CONNECT KidStyle is offered during the 9:30 AM Sunday morning worship time. Boys and girls,Pre-K through Kindergarten and 1st grade through 3rd grade are introduced to the concept of congregational worship as they are engaged in a host of worship related activities that include music, games, scripture memorization, and a life application lesson. In CONNECT KidStyle they learn about God and His plan for people as they worship together.

Middle and High School students are greeted by their friends in the Student Life Center (SLC), which can be found upstairs in the Fellowship Wing. Life in the SLC is about extreme love for Jesus and His love for you. Stop by, play a game of ping pong, and then throw your hands up in the air while the youth praise band leads the way in worship. God is alive and at work in the youth of First Baptist Church. Come make a friend, meet the Savior and walk away with a new heart and a changed life. Early Bible Study begins at 8:00 AM on Sundays, followed by worship in the Worship Center. Late Bible Study begins at 10:45 AM
