What happens on other days?
No matter what your weekly schedule, Edmond’s First Baptist Church (EFBC) has a variety of opportunities available for the community and members of EFBC.
MID-WEEK is our answer to that midweek slump when the stress and challenges of everyday living can get you down. Every Wednesday evening at 6:00 PM we meet in Fellowship Hall for praise, worship, and Bible teaching in a casual setting. Worship on Wednesday is a more intimate time of worship in which each person focuses on their own heart, their own needs, and desire to be in the presence of God. We lift our hands and come humbly into His presence, and worship the One who created us.
If you’re coming straight from work on Wednesday you’ll be glad to find that we serve a full meal at a very reasonable price from salad to dessert every Wednesday night beginning at 4:45 PM. Visit Happenings for menu and pricing information.
Visit Age Groups and Ministries to learn more about the many wonderful opportunities at Edmond's First Baptist Church. Age Groups is where we surround ourselves with others who are like us in many ways and different in
others, we grow to be more like Christ by striving to live according to His
purpose. Ministries is a place for you if you are looking to get plugged in to a place of service that matches your
talents and abilities, you're in the right place. With so much to choose from,
you're sure to find something that you are passionate about!
Tuesday Morning Men's Prayer Breakfast is a great opportunity for men to meet at 6:15 AM for coffee, donuts and
prayer. During the meetings one of the men of our group will share a
testimony or teach a brief Bible lesson that is meaningful to him.
On the first Tuesday of each month we enjoy a a BIG breakfast
consisting of bacon, eggs, biscuits and gravy. This is also the week
when we usually have a special guest speaker. Our goals as we meet are
to build each other up in the Lord, lift up those around us in need of
prayer, and to learn more about God's Word.
EFBC’s Motorcycle Ministry is for you if you enjoy motorcycles and riding on a beautiful day with friends. Whether you have a motorcycle or not, you are welcome to accompany us in your vehicle as we travel around the state. Trips are planned throughout the year to nearby areas of interest or to a restaurant for good food and fellowship.
Several times during the year EFBC hosts special events such as Ladies Night Out, a Fall Festival, and our annual Christmas Program. These are seasonal events designed to share a fun evening with other members and the community. These special events are more than just entertainment…they are an opportunity to enrich your life with fellowship, laughter, and celebration.
Ladies Night Out is offered twice a year as a fun evening out with friends, each one with its own theme. Sometimes the theme will be a mission focus while other nights are all about having fun! Join us in the spring and fall for laughter, good food, and even better fellowship with friends!
Ladies Bible Studies are held at multiple times through the week offering ladies an opportunity to dig deep into the Word of God. Throughout the years our ladies have feasted on the Word through the inspirational teaching of various Beth Moore Bible studies and videos as well as the works of other authors and teachers.
For parents who need a loving and safe place for your child to play and learn while you run errands, work, or just catch up on chores, Parents’ Day Out is a fee-based activity that is available for you and your preschooler. At Parent's Day Out your child will be cared for by loving caregivers and learn how God loves and provides for them. He or she will enjoy playing with other children near their age, and have the opportunity to explore their world.
