Singles Ministry

First Family Singles is a caring group of single adults age 30 and above (divorced, never married, separated or widowed) who meet together to study the Bible and encourage one another. Our fellowship is centered on learning to apply Biblical truths to our daily lives and enjoying a variety of activities together in an atmosphere of Christian encouragement, support, and fun. Whether you’re single again or still single, you are welcome to join us!

Where do I go?

Our singles meet in Fellowship Hall for Sunday morning Bible study.  For assistance in finding your way to our room, stop by either of the Visitor Centers in the Worship Center foyer and one of our Worship Center Hosts will be glad to help you find your way.

Schedule

Bible Study each Sunday morning at 11:00AM following Morning Worship. Our class is taught by David Sammons. We also have regular fellowships and planned events. Information about each event is posted on the First Family Singles Calendar.

Special Events

Fellowship is a large part of our growth as a class and individually.

1 John 1:3-4 explains the importance of fellowship in the Christian walk. It says, “What we have seen and heard we also declare to you, so that you may have fellowship along with us; and indeed our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ. We are writing these things so that our joy may be complete.”

To have fellowship one with another is more complex than just sharing food, laughter, and friendship. True fellowship is the sharing of God’s blessings in a mutual relationship with the Father through Jesus Christ, the Son. As we grow together in fellowship with Christ we also grow in fellowship with each other. We invite you to fellowship with us during our planned fellowship events, such as our Second Sunday Lunch after Bible Study (at noon) on the 2nd Sunday of each month; monthly get-togethers on Friday or Saturday night; and our Come & Go Breakfast at Panera Bread located at 15th and Bryant Avenue in Edmond once a month on Saturday morning from 8:30 AM - 10:00 AM.
