Project Christmas Hope

Project Christmas Hope is underway.  Help make this a Merry Christmas for families that may not have the ability to purchse gifts for their children and loved ones.  Stop by the Light Tower, directly behind the Worship Center, to select a stocking containing wish lists.

Bring your unwrapped items back to church by Sunday, December 13.  For more information, contact Marilyn Jones at 405-607-2866.

What is Project Christmas Hope?

Even though Christmas is a time of joy and laughter for most of us, it is a time of hopelessness and disappointment to many families who are experiencing hard times. Through Project Christmas Hope, Edmond’s First Baptist Church “adopts” families from The H.O.P.E. Center of Edmond, and any family in our church that we know needs a little extra help. Project Christmas Hope allows the entire church to anonymously share in their personal blessings by assisting in providing new clothes, toys, food and other items to these “adopted” families.

Selections are easy to purchase since they are labeled by the desired item’s name (toy truck) and by the age and gender of the child. No names are used for either the recipients or the donors of the items. Each family’s “wish list” will be displayed at the church during the Christmas season.
