Parent's Day Out Ministry

Parent’s Day Out is a ministry to families in our community with young children, infants through five years.  Preschoolers enjoy a day of skill development to prepare them for kindergarten and formal schooling. Preschoolers participate in pre-reading skills, pre-math skills, socialization, and spiritual development as teachers model a Christ-like attitude daily. We use the WEE Learn Curriculum published by LifeWay Christian Resources as the foundation for daily plans.

Parent’s Day Out is open from 9:30 AM to 2:30 PM each Tuesday and Thursday and requires a reservation as space is limited to maintain acceptable student to teacher ratios. Children bring lunch daily.

Parent’s Day Out is a fee based program that operates from September through May.

Volunteers are welcome following an application that includes a Confidential Background screening form.

Kids Tuesday Fun Days

Kids Tuesday Fun Days is the Summer Parent’s Day Out program which takes place only on Tuesdays during June and July.  This program is a fee based program for boys and girls, infants through fifth grade. Boys and girls will participate in Bible related activities including games, stories, drama, crafts, and Bible study. The WEE Learn Curriculum is the foundational material used for daily plans.

Volunteers are welcome following approved applications that include a confidential background screening form.

The church office is available Monday - Thursday from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM and Fridays from 8:00 AM to noon at 405-341-0253.
