Leadership Intensive 2008

The Leadership Intensive 2008 Kick-Off Rally was held to launch a six-week process of preparation for the new season for the  Connection Group ministry which begins the Fall of 2008.  The objectives of this Leadership Intensive was to develop a leadership covenant for the small group leaders of Edmond's First Baptist Church, the five purposes in the New Testament related to leadership and the five purposes of the church, to participate in discussion-based Bible study in each division, and to commit publicly to the leadership covenant in a formal commissioning service.

Leadership Intensive 2008 will conclude on Sunday, September 7 during our morning Worship Service, with a formal time of commitment during which EFBC’s small group leadership core will publically agree to practice the Leadership Covenant together. This commitment time will include an altar call for the leaders, a reading of the covenant, a challenge by Pastor Day, and a prayer of dedication.
