About Dr. Steve Parr
Dr. Parr has served in local churches as a staff member as well as the interim pastor of fourteen congregations. He currently serves as the Interim Lead Pastor of Hebron Baptist Church in Dacula, Georgia. Visit HEBRON CHURCH. He has a Masters of Divinity Degree in Christian Education from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and a Doctor of Ministry degree in Church Growth and Evangelism from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He was featured on the twentieth anniversary of the Billy Graham School of Evangelism of Southern Seminary as one of twenty alumni making a Great Commission impact around the world.
He is the author of several best-selling books on small group leadership, evangelism, and his novel; The Coffee Shop That Changed a Church. His signature book is based on a national research project of young adults who grew up attending church. While much has been written about those who have dropped out, Parr has written a powerful book that focuses on those who have “stayed” rather than “strayed.” Please visit the link below to learn more about his efforts to Maximize Leadership.
Steve is married to Carolyn and has three adult children, Leah, Lauren, and Larissa, two sons-in-law, and three grandchildren.
