Changes 2 KNO

Your voices have been heard!

This winter we are making some changes to KNO to help address all of these issues and more.  Perhaps the most common comment we have heard back from parent's this past semester is that they wish they had more time.  So poof, we are giving you more time.  That is right, both TGIF and KNO will now begin at 6:15 PM and run until 9:15 PM.  This will give parents a full 3 hours out.

This will also give the kids more time to enjoy whatever or wherever the KNO is at and still allow us to arrive back on time.  But buyer beware, because we will be leaving earlier, so do not be late, or you may be left.  Because we are leaving earlier to ensure we get back on time, KNO has made other changes as well.  Our registration deadline will be moving back to Sunday before the event.

To ensure your place you will need a waiver for the event and payment.  We will not accept any payments the day of the event.  This is mainly in an effort to help us streamline the paperwork process and limit the amount of time which we need to remain at the church.  It will also help us to maintain a predetermined sponsor to child ratio.  That is right, I said sponsor.  We are shifting from parent driven to sponsor driven events.  Each sponsor will be responsible for no more than 6 children per event.  As such we will not take children beyond the number of sponsors for a particular event.  Sponsors will not be asked to pay, but will have a greater responsibility than our parent driven method of this past year.  KNO will still be $10.00 per child, but be on the lookout for those special deals.
