Kids Kupboard

Kid’s Kupboard is a ministry designed to ensure that at risk children from a local elementary school don’t go hungry during extended school breaks such as Fall Break, Thanksgiving, Christmas Break, Spring Break, etc.

Volunteers pack grocery sacks full of fruit and ready-to-eat nutritious food items to be provided to families selected by the school social worker.

Kids' Kupboard Thanksgiving

Thank you to everyone who helped EFBC fill a need for the Thanksgiving break! The Kids’ Kupboard program serves between 35 to 50 underprivileged children from Orvis Risner Elementary during the four extended school breaks during the school year. Without this program many of these children would not have access to food during the time away from school. We fill a direct need and the feedback from the school leaders has been most encouraging.
