Ignition Weekend 2019

A weekend that can change your life for an eternity! Students spend time all together in large group sessions as well as small group time, with grade-level groupings in host homes from our church.

Ignition Weekend

Friday, February 22 - Sunday, February 24, 2019
For 7th - 12th grades, we will join with several student ministries from all over Edmond to connect and learn what it means to follow Christ.

Ignition Weekend is designed to give students an opportunity to grow, worship, and serve. Families within the church provide homes and transportation for students throughout the weekend. The Host homes are a great place for students to hang out and get into God’s word through small groups led by young adult leaders. Students will gather together in a large group for worship with powerful music and in-depth teaching of God’s word. Students will also have a chance to participate in a service project during the weekend. Ignition Weekend is a great opportunity for students to rekindle and ignite their passion for Christ as they begin a new year. Cost is $50.

Online pay is closed. You may pay on the day of the event.

This year the theme is Renew. Over the weekend we’ll look at the life of one of Jesus’ 12 disciples, Peter. We’ll witness the renewal of Peter’s own life as we follow the narrative of his discipleship with Christ, his encounter with the risen Christ, and his ministry of the gospel after the ascension of Christ.

Student ministries from all over Edmond will meet at Quail Springs Baptist Church as we hear the testimony of one man’s renewed life, and see how it led to his renewed mind and renewed message.
