Homebound Ministry

Expressing love, concern, and encouragement.

Homebound Ministry Valentine’s

Thank you to everyone for your efforts in delivering the Valentine balloons, cards, and heart pillows to EFBC’s homebound members. A special thanks to those who took an extra one, filled in for someone else, and EFBC’s Sewing Ministry for providing the heart pillows and the Goree Connection Group for the custom Valentines cards.

Connecting to His

Homebound Ministry

Helping to Heal the Loneliness! Give back an hour of God’s time to “touch a heart.” Read a scripture passage, say a prayer or simply hold a hand and listen. Make a telephone call just to let someone know they are loved and remembered by the family of God. Be ready to receive showers of blessings as you serve the Lord by serving others.

“Whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.”
Colossians 3:17

Those that comprise the Homebound Ministry of Edmond’s First Baptist Church will avail themselves to our members who are confined to their homes or residents of health care facilities in the following ways:

  • To faithfully pray for our Homebound members and workers.
  • To always express love, concern, and encouragement.
  • To minister to family members.
  • To meet needs that can be provided by our staff, church members, and Homebound workers.
