There is a limited supply of directories available for church members that were not able to be photographed. Directories will also be available in the Church Office during normal office hours. There is no charge for the directory.

  • Connection Group Leader Opportunity

    Saturday, August 19 | 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM | First Baptist Moore
There will be a ministry enrichment opportunity available for all those currently leading or those with a desire to lead. The C.O.M.E. Fan the Flames of Leadership Conference will take place at First Baptist Church Moore with Jerry Wooley from First Baptist Church Hendersonville, Tennessee, as the keynote speaker along with break outs for specific training. Cost is $5 and covers lunch and materials. Register online by Monday, August 14, by visiting cbaokc.net.

  • Help Collect School Supplies

EFBC’s Oak Ridge Estates Ministry will be collecting school supplies for the upcoming school year. Here are some ways that your Connection Group (CG) can help!

    • Your CG can sponsor a specific item (provide all the pens/pencils/crayons needed).
    • Your CG can encourage individuals to use the “NEEDS” list in the Foyer to purchase specific school supplies.
    • Your CG can take up a collection and donate it to the “Oak Ridge School Supply Fund”.

Look for us in the Foyer on the mornings of July 23, July 30, and August 6, for more information about getting involved in this great ministry!

  • Back-to-School Prayer Night

    Sunday, August 13 | 5:00 – 6:00 PM | Worship Center
Bring your family and join us as Randy Faram and Christian Lloyd begin the prayer time in the Worship Center and then families will go to their children’s school to pray. Prayer guides will be provided. Those without children or students in school, come as well and pray for the education that takes place at our church such as Parent’s Day Out and the Homeschoolers’ Classical Conversations.

  • Lord’s Supper Observance July 30

The Lord’s Supper is one of the two ordinances of the church (the other being baptism) and is a symbolic act of obedience for believers to memorialize the death, burial, resurrection, and return of the Lord Jesus Christ.

For families, this is a great opportunity for parents to model worship for their children. KIDS’ CHURCH for 1st - 4th grade will not meet on Sunday, July 30, for this reason.

  • Students' Welcome Weekend

    August 16 and August 18-19
For 7th - 12th grade, Welcome Weekend at Edmond’s First Baptist Church is a great time of worship, fellowship, and fun. As the new school year approaches, we see a lot of new faces around the Student Ministry and see a lot of friends returning from family vacations so we have designed Welcome Weekend to bring us together as we kick off the new school year.
