“Sojourn” Sermon Series

"Sojourn" is the title of Pastor Blake Gideon's newest sermon series, beginning Sunday, May 22. As we study 1 Peter and 2 Peter, we will be reminded that we are aliens and strangers in a foreign land. This is not our home, but we should live as though we are already there. Heaven is our true home. Follow SERMONS.

Give Passionately

Have you thought about making a Summer Giving Plan (SGP)? Yes, that’s right an SGP. Summer is a wonderful time with great weather, outdoor activities, trips to the lake, vacations, and time spent with family. Summer is also a time of increased church expenses such as summer camps, higher utilities, mission trips, and many ministry activities. This is also a time when giving declines as people are out of town and not available to present their tithes. This season of higher expenses combined with lower receipts can cause churches to struggle. Have you considered what your SGP will look like? Maybe giving in advance for the time you are away or mailing your gift to the church while out of town? Online giving is a great option! You can set it ahead of time and the gift comes out of your account on the date(s) you set. As Ron Popeil used to say, “Set it and Forget it”. Please pray about how you can continue your faithful giving, even when you are away this summer.

Visit ONLINE GIVING or contact the Church Office for more information. Give Passionately!
