Neighboring Your NeighborDuring the “Thank You, Jesus” Banquet in November, Pastor Blake Gideon shared the vision for 2020. “Neighboring Your Neighbor” is a long term strategy designed to develop the congregation of Edmond’s First Baptist Church into intentional disciples who are committed to showing hospitality to their neighbors. The Baptist Mission Center is preparing for their annual Christmas Store on Thursday, December 19 at Exchange Avenue Baptist Church which reaches 100+ families. Consider contributing food, gifts, and toys. The greatest need are for boys and girls 8-12 and gift cards for teenagers. Deliver to Edmond’s First by next Sunday, December 15. Preschool Ministry: Sunday, December 22For birth - kindergarten, learn about the birth of Jesus Christ, celebrate, and sing songs during the 9:30 AM Preschool Kids Church and 11:00 AM Connection Groups.
Children’s Ministry: Wednesday, December 18For 1st - 5th grade, play games, eat snacks, and most importantly talk about the true reason for the season during our Christmas Party from 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM!
Student Ministry: Wednesday, December 18For 6th - 12th grade, spend time in God’s Word reading about the birth of our Savior, Jesus, enjoy fun activities, and sing carols from 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM.
Winter can be a brutal time of year especially if you need warm clothes and have no means of purchasing necessary items. Beginning today, the Preschool Ministry and Children’s Ministry will be collecting the following as part of our mission program:

Visit a Connection Group on Sunday morning and learn how we faithfully fulfill God’s desire to connect people to Christ, His church, His word, and His mission for His Glory.

Meet in Room 113 at noon every. Start praying. No lunch, No Bible study, just powerful praying with the men of Edmond’s First! Come and stay as long as you can.

Thursdays | 9:15 AM - 11:30 AM | Henderson HillsThe Purpose of Friendship International is to meet the needs of international women in an expression of Christian love. We have women from more than 30 countries, many of whom have never heard the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Meeting once a week, we share God’s love as we teach five levels of English as a Second Language plus citizenship. It is never too late to join. Childcare is available for birth through pre-kindergarten.
The First Family gathers in FELLOWSHIP HALL each Wednesday at 4:45 PM for a catered fellowship meal. Complimentary for first time guests.
