  • Adult Ministries Revival

Join us on Sunday, April 29 through Tuesday, May 1, at 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM, in Fellowship Hall for a “Come Alive: He has made us alive together with Christ” Revival with Dr. Ernie Perkins. Vocalists will include Men of Victory, Paige Perry, and Jerry Miller and Keith Haygood.

Keynote speaker Dr. Ernie Perkins has over sixty-seven years in the ministry. He is an evangelist, humorist, and educator. A native Missourian, Ernie was reared on a farm in Northeast Arkansas, where he accepted Christ as his personal Savior at the age of nine. In 1951, as an eleven-year-old boy, he accepted his call to the ministry and preached his first sermon. Preaching revivals, youth meetings, and pulpit supply, he averaged preaching every week prior to his first pastorate while still in high school.

He is an avid writer with published articles in many national Baptist publications and secular psychological journals. In addition, he has written several books. A believer in life-long learning, he holds four earned doctorates and three master’s degrees.

Ernie and his wife, Wanda’s family include their two sons, Timothy and Micah and his wife, Trinity; and their grandson, Tommy, and granddaughter, Jenna.
