Spring Semester, Tuesdays, January 10 - May 15, 2012

FINE ARTS ACADEMY for 1st thru 5th grade Spring Semester begins January 10 thru May 15, at Edmond's First Baptist Church.  Enrollment is open to the first 50 paid students ($50.00) and will challenge our children in the areas of worship and the arts.

What is included?

$50.00 per child, per semester, includes food, equipment, musical instruments and a performance t-shirt.

Where do we meet?

Drop off will be at the Fellowship Hall doors on the east side of Edmond's First Baptist Church campus.  Classes will be held in Fellowship Hall, Fellowship Hall Conference Room and the Choir Room.

What electives are offered?

  • Guitar 101 (Beginning Guitar)
  • Guitar 201 (Intermediate Guitar)
  • Instruments 101 (Beginning Orff)
  • Instruments 201 (Soprano Recorder)
  • Creative Writing
  • Drama
  • Dance

We will meet each Tuesday, beginning on January 10 thru May 15, excluding holiday weeks.

Keith Haygood is a church musician with a passion for assisting others in virtually all areas of worship arts ministry.  He has written and published numerous children's songs and has a strong desire to help children learn about God's love through music.

Having formerly served the Baptist General Convention of Oklahoma (BGCO), he now serves Edmond's First Baptist Church in Edmond, Oklahoma, as Associate Pastor & Minister of Music.
