Erick Lind

Erick Lind

Destined to share the power of Christ after being called to children’s ministry the summer following his sophomore year in high school, Erick Lind gained his early experience working in churches in Oklahoma and Texas. During that time, he earned his degree in Children’s Ministry and Family Science from Oklahoma Baptist University. Go Bison!

If you don’t catch Erick playing his favorite sport, racquetball, you might find him creating Christian devotionals for families and children. Finding joy in reading, some of his favorite books include Mansfield’s "Book of Manly Men", "One Big Thing", and "How to Talk So Kids Will Listen & Listen So Kids Will Talk".

Erick understands how important it is to connect with the community, families, and kids through the Gospel of Christ and has made that connection his main focus at Edmond’s First Baptist Church. A verse memorized and close to his heart is, “His divine power has given us everything required for life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and goodness.” (2 Peter 1:3 HCSB)
