EFBC Foundation

The EFBC Foundation offers you an opportunity to make a financial gift to maintain and expand the ministry of Edmond's First Baptist Church.

The EFBC Foundation was created to provide an opportunity for members and friends to make gifts during their lifetimes or through their estates for the long-term benefit of the church and other kingdom causes.  The Foundation receives and manages a collection of funds and periodically receives a distribution of income generated by those funds.

What can be accomplished through the EFBC Foundation?

Collectively, we can provide permanent financial support for current and future ministries of our church, as well as other kingdom causes.  Money distributed from the funds may provide resources for mission efforts, evangelistic emphasis, scholarships, capital expenditures and other ministries needs.

How can I make a gift to support the EFBC Foundation ministry?

Gifts to Edmond's First Baptist Church through the EFBC Foundation can be made now or as part of your estate plan.  Checks should be made payable to the Foundation.

We also encourage you to consider including a gift of a specific dollar amount or percentage of your estate to Edmond's First Baptist Church as pert of your planned giving.  This type of gift may necessitate the creation of an estate plan or an amendment to your current will or revocable living trust.  The EFBC Foundation offers estate planning education and a legal fee reimbursement program for those who make designations to our church.

Who manages the EFBC Foundation?

The EFBC Foundation Trustee is The Baptist Foundation of Oklahoma - our partner in this ministry.  They employ a stable and diversified investment management style across multiple asset classes in order to provide the EFBC Foundation with a predictable principal growth and stream of income distributions for current and future ministry needs.

The Baptist Foundation also offers advice regarding various forms of charitable planned gifts that provide you with an income tax deduction, a bypass of capital gains taxes and/or an income stream back to you and your spouse or other person for life.
