Beth Moore is a speaker and author of best-selling Bible studies and other books for women. Beth is a woman of purpose, preparation, prayer, and passion. It's apparent in everything she does, from teaching her weekday class at Houston's First Baptist Church to speaking to the thousands of women who attend her Living Proof conferences each year.
Kay Arthur is a Bible teacher, conference speaker, and cofounder of Precept Ministries International, which conducts conferences and institutes worldwide to train men, women, couples, and teens in the Word of God. She is author of more than 100 books and Bible studies, with four Gold Medallion awards and over five million copies in print. Kay also hosts a daily radio program, two television programs, and one-minute devotional spots that air regularly on over 850 stations.
Priscilla Shirer, as a communication major in college, had plans to be a television news anchor — but God had other ideas. While interning at a Christian radio station in Houston, she began to receive invitations to do Bible studies at small women’s events in the area. At only 18 she shared the simple truths of Scripture that she was studying in her own personal time with the Lord... and she has been in full-time ministry ever since. Priscilla Shirer’s ministry to women across the country and around the world is focused on the expository teaching of the Word of God. Her desire is to see women come to a full understanding of who they are in Christ by hearing the uncompromising truth of Scripture. She is author of He Speaks to Me: Preparing to Hear from God and Discerning The Voice Of God: How to Recognize When God Speaks.
Music Guest
Travis Cottrell and praise team are musicians from Nashville, TN. Travis uses a blended style of worship in leading churches, student conferences, and large events such as Living Proof Live. Some of Travis's recent musical projects include the 3:16 Worship Musical, The Lamb Has Overcome for Living Proof Live, and the live worship project Alive Forever. He and his wife Angela, who often ministers with him, are also songwriters.
Travis is accompanied by the "praise team," an awesome group of singers and musicians, all immensely talented, serving out their passion to worship the Living God.
