Christmas Sermon Series

During the month of December, join Pastor Blake Gideon in the Worship Center at 9:30 AM or 11:00 AM for "The Birth of the King" from the Book of Matthew. First time to Edmond's First? Stop by a Welcome Desk with questions and greeters are always available for assistance.

"Song of Joy" Christmas Program

Celebrate Christmas with Edmond's First! It is a time of reflection, as we remember God's greatest gift, His one and only Son. It is a time for families, as we gather for fellowship. It is also a wonderful opportunity to share the true story of Jesus’ birth, and the reason why He came.

Our 2019 Christmas musical, “Song of Joy” is full of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and is a great opportunity to invite your family and friends to see and hear the Gospel.

What is the meaning of Christmas?

Christmas is more than gifts for family and friends. It is a time when believers come together to celebrate Jesus Christ, the greatest gift. We celebrate Christmas because of this ‘Good News’, the birth of Jesus. Why did Jesus have to be born and come to earth? At the very beginning of time, Adam and Eve disobeyed God and that created a separation between God and man. God wanted to restore the broken relationship. So he sent his one and only son. Jesus Christ was born in a manger, lived a sinless life, died on a Roman cross, was buried in a borrowed tomb, and rose on the third day. He paid the penalty for our disobedience. He now lives in Heaven, where you can live eternally with Him. All you have to do is accept His gift of an eternal and abundant life.

College Ministry

Take time in the next few weeks and pray for Edmond's First college students as they prepare for and take finals. This is also a great time to reach out and encourage those students you have personally met and served with over this past year by sending cards, buying coffee, or just hugging necks. They may be gone over Christmas but they are still a vital part of the Edmond's First Family. Questions? Contact Austen Covin, 806-341-4797, EMAIL Austen.
