“The Story of Christmas”

Christmas is a time of songs, memories, and traditions that transpire throughout time. So often we can miss out on the gift of sending those messages because we are so focused on receiving them. This year’s Christmas production follows the life of one man who has become lonely and overlooks what his responsibility is for the Christmas season. With a little tough love and a trip down memory lane, he soon realizes that he is given the greatest gift of all . . . a chance to give Christmas away!! EFBC’s Worship Arts Ministry presents “The Story of Christmas”  in the Worship Center on:

  • Friday, December 8
    6:30 PM

  • Saturday, December 9
    6:30 PM

  • Sunday, December 10
    2:30 PM

For questions or more information, contact the Church Office which is available Monday - Thursday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Fridays from 8:00 AM to noon at 405-341-0253, or complete the online form at the bottom of this web page.

A Supernatural Christmas

This Sunday morning sermon series will take a look behind the veil of the Christmas story. Each week Pastor Blake will cover one of the four doctrines found in the books of Luke and Matthew pertaining to the story of Jesus’ birth. The doctrines that will be covered are angels, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. We will see that the first Christmas was very supernatural indeed.

Join Pastor Blake Gideon in the Worship Center each Sunday morning at 9:30 AM for this Christmas Sermon Series from December 3 through December 24.

What is the meaning of Christmas?

Christmas is more than gifts for family and friends. It is a time when believers come together to celebrate Jesus Christ, the greatest gift. We celebrate Christmas because of this ‘Good News’, the birth of Jesus. Why did Jesus have to be born and come to earth? At the very beginning of time, Adam and Eve disobeyed God and that created a separation between God and man. God wanted to restore the broken relationship. So he sent his one and only son. Jesus Christ was born in a manger, lived a sinless life, died on a Roman cross, was buried in a borrowed tomb, and rose on the third day. He paid the penalty for our disobedience. He now lives in Heaven, where you can live eternally with Him. All you have to do is accept His gift of an eternal and abundant life.
