What is the meaning of Christmas?

Christmas is more than gifts for family and friends. It is a time when believers come together to celebrate Jesus Christ, the greatest gift. We celebrate Christmas because of this ‘Good News’, the birth of Jesus. Why did Jesus have to be born and come to earth? At the very beginning of time, Adam and Eve disobeyed God and that created a separation between God and man. God wanted to restore the broken relationship. So he sent his one and only son. Jesus Christ was born in a manger, lived a sinless life, died on a Roman cross, was buried in a borrowed tomb, and rose on the third day. He paid the penalty for our disobedience. He now lives in Heaven, where you can live eternally with Him. All you have to do is accept His gift of an eternal and abundant life.

His Mission

Project Christmas Hope

Christmas is a time of celebration, yet many families in our community will not have a celebration or gift under the tree as they are struggling just to survive. Adopt a family through Christmas Hope and provide the gifts that will make Christmas a season of Hope through your generosity. Visit CHRISTMAS HOPE for more information.

Kid's Kupboard

Kid’s Kupboard collections are underway. For the 2018 school year the Winter break is over two weeks. You can help by first, pray for our children, their families, and school staff and second, donate food items. Anyone may participate along with the age groups. Follow KIDS KUPBOAD for more information.

Baptist Mission Center Christmas Store

The Baptist Mission Center in Oklahoma City is preparing for its annual Christmas Store where pre-screened families have a chance to go thru the store and select gifts for their family.  The Mission is in need of food, toys, teenager gifts, and personal care items by Sunday, December 16.  Please bring your gifts to your Connection Group or place them in the blue buckets located at the church entrances. Follow BAPTIST MISSION for age group needs and more information.
