Chris Evans

Chris and his wife Kinsey along with their three boys recently moved to Edmond, Oklahoma to follow in the Lord’s will for their life. Chris came to know Christ later in life at the age of 22 after a series of events transpired which left him feeling hopeless, lost and in despair. He cried out to the lord to please show him what he should do next. He didn’t know what this meant until a man invited him to eat lunch one day on a job site and invited him to church. Shortly after he came to know Christ as his personal lord and savior and surrendered to the ministry.

Chris and his family are originally from Wellston, a small-town east of Edmond where they started their family and ministry while operating his small business and serving as a youth pastor for seven years prior to moving to Edmond. Nothing brings him more joy than sharing the Gospel and seeing people come to know Christ, followed by the discipleship process, and seeing people live for Christ unashamedly. His priorities are his personal relationship with Christ, his wife, and his children.

His motto is “Everything else will fall into its place if a person’s priorities are in line:

  • 1 - Christ
  • 2 - Family

Apart from spending time with his family he enjoys hunting, fishing, golf, meeting new people, reading, and good food. His favorite verses are 2 Timothy 2:15 and Matthew 28:18-20. Chris is currently a seminary student at Luther Rice College and Seminary.

18 And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in[a] the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.
