Charles Scheffe

Associate Pastor, Children's Ministry

Charles Scheffe is the new Associate Pastor of Children’s Ministry at Edmond’s First Baptist Church.  A native of Edmond, Charles grew up in this community and graduated from Memorial High School, which he calls the original. Throughout those years Charles was an active member of Edmond’s First Baptist Church and after surrendering to the ministry was licensed to preach the gospel by EFBC in 2004.

Most recently Charles has been serving as a Children’s Pastor at Fellowship Church in Grapevine, Texas. Prior to that, Charles served at Meadowood Baptist Church in Midwest City as the Children’s Minister. He is a graduate of Oklahoma Baptist University with Bachelors degrees in both Applied Ministry and Family Psychology.

Charles has also been attending Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in pursuit of a Master’s degree in Christian Education.

In 2005, Charles married his wife, Stephanie. They met at OBU, where Stephanie graduated with a Bachelors degree in Children’s Ministry. They currently reside in Edmond with their two, sixty-pound Australian Shepherds, Auckland and Sydney.
