Every Tuesday EFBC's men meet at 6:15 AM for coffee, donuts and prayer.  During the meetings one of the men of our group will share a testimony or teach a brief Bible lesson that is meaningful to him.

On the first Tuesday of each month we enjoy a a BIG breakfast consisting of bacon, eggs, biscuits and gravy.  This is also the week when we usually have a special guest speaker.  Our goals as we meet are to build each other up in the Lord, lift up those around us in need of prayer, and to learn more about God's Word.

What is the Men's Ministry

The purpose of the Men’s Ministry of Edmond’s First Baptist Church is to fellowship with all our brothers in Christ and at the same time learn more about God's word. To that end we endeavor not only to spend time together having fun, but also in reaching out to our community and to each other. Our goal is to challenge each other to be the men God created us to be, fulfilling our purposes within our families, on our jobs, and in the church. In addition to that we are always mindful that we are an integral part of our community and our state. We welcome the responsibilities God has placed in our hands while prayerfully submitting to His will for our lives.

Coming soon! EFBC will begin a brand new Martial Arts Ministry in October. Aikido is also known as the peaceful martial arts, as the basic principle is “Do not fight force with force”. Instead of attacking, Akido students learn redirecting and restraining techniques.

The goal of this ministry is to reach others for Christ through the Martial Arts Program. Each session will involve not only Aikido training, but Bible training as well.

Aikido Martial Arts will meet on Tuesday evenings and is open to anyone, ages 8 and up. No matter what size, weight, age, or gender you are, there is a place for you in the class. Watch for more details!

The Mission Center is preparing for the annual Christmas store. The Mission is in need of food, toys, gifts for teenagers, and personal care items. Please bring items to your Connection Group by Sunday, December 11, or in the Church Office by Monday, December 12.

There will be volunteer opportunities to help set up the Christmas Store on December 12, 13, and 14. Volunteers are also needed to help on the big day, Thursday, December 15, when families can shop in the store.

You are invited to the Oklahoma Baptist Homes for Children (OBHC) Back-to-School Style Show at 10:00 AM on Saturday, August 13, in the Cox Center Grand Ballroom. Doors open at 9:30 AM.

Tickets are available in your Connection Group or online at OBHC.org for $20.00 each and includes a free parking ticket. Advance tickets are required.
