2012 Proposed Budget

Although a budget description usually involves talking about money, what it really communicates is the hope and commitment of individual members, committees, ministry leaders and church staff working together to fulfill God's purpose for His church. The 2012 Proposed Budget is not primarily about dollars and cents; it's about providing resources to enable God's people to do God's work here, in Edmond, and around the world. God is blessing EFBC abundantly! His presence manifests itself as we gather to worship. He speaks powerfully through our Pastor's messages as we seek to apply His truth in our Connection Groups (Sunday School). He has initiated new ministries - "Living by Faith" television ministry, Kid's Kupboard, Martha Ministry, etc. He has allowed us to give more to mission causes. To Him be the glory!

The 2012 Proposed Budget was carefully and prayerfully developed by our staff and key committees and reflects both current economic realities and our confident assurance that God is still in control and wants our church to continue our efforts in evangelism, discipleship, fellowship, ministry and worship. The Proposed Budget is a realistic balance of economic realities with confidence in God and our people. It, like every budget, is a planning document, to be reviewed regularly by our Stewardship Committee, which will recommend modifications as circumstances warrant.

ADMINISTRATIVE

The Administrative and Property sections of the 2012 Proposed Budget provide the resources necessary for effective and efficient support systems for the ministries of the church. Whether paper clips or vans, moving expenses for new staff or sports league fees, a childrens book or our award winning website, grounds maintenance or telephone service, the thing that all of the line items in these budget categories share is they enable and enhance everything else that our church family undertakes to do in Christ's service. PERSONNEL

Recommendation of the Personnel Committee

The Personnel Category of the 2012 Proposed Budget includes all costs associated with support for our church staff, clerical, custodial and kitchen staff, childcare workers, etc.

EFBC is blessed to have an outstanding church staff, with multiple and diverse gifts, talents, training and experiences. The clerical, custodial, food service, and childcare staff provide essential support and ministry to our members and community.
